Holiday is the time to relax a bit and leave everything behind, but have you ever thought of sanifying your teeth? The compulsory health insurance fund reduces the service, you have to pay a lot on your own and it is not really cheap, especially regarding dental prosthesis. Turkey is famous for good doctors and good prices. I wanted to try it myself how good the prices are. After all I can have a 10-day-holiday in a 5 * hotel and still save about half the money of the costs I would have paid in Germany for teeth sanifying, some crowns or bridges. The results are really very good, the dental laboratories use the same materials as their colleagues in Germany. But salary is much cheaper in Turkey.
So I informed myself and compared prices of the different dentists. The first alternative was a complete renewal of the upper teeth and even replacing missing teeth. In Germany I would have paid about 13000 €! In Turkey they would have calculated about 1000 and 2500 €! It would have been a huge difference compared to the price in Germany. The second alternative was 2 crowns (made of ceramic) and 1 filling. In Germany I would have paid about 700 to 1000 € in Turkey I really got a very good price: 100 € for one ceramic-crown. That's why I let have it made.

The result is very good. There are no disorders and no differences to crowns made in Germany. I can really recommend it. But you should not look at the outwardnesses and spaces of most of the dentist's offices. They are different but all very hygienic. Unfortunately the dentists is not very squeamish at the contact with his patients. But all in all it was a very worthily experience.
